Khazanah Nasional Berhad (“Khazanah”) today announced the appointment of Dato’ Charon Wardini bin Mokhzani as Executive Director, Managing Director’s Office effective 6 November 2013.
Dato’ Charon joins Khazanah from CIMB Group where he is currently Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Investment Banking and Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Investment Bank Berhad. He joined CIMB in August 2004 having been Managing Partner of Malaysian law firm, Zaid Ibrahim and Co., and has had a career in law, corporate finance and investment banking spanning 23 years. Dato’ Charon read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Balliol College, University of Oxford and Law at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London.
Khazanah would also like to take this opportunity to record its appreciation to Dr. Nungsari Ahmad Radhi, Executive Director, Head of Research and Investment Strategy who left Khazanah on 1 September 2013 to assume the position of Managing Director, Prokhas Sdn. Bhd., a wholly owned company of the Minister of Finance, Incorporated. Dr. Nungsari had served in his role at Khazanah since February 2007.
