We refer to media reports that Tan Sri Halim Saad has filed a legal suit against Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, the Government of Malaysia and Khazanah Nasional Berhad (“Khazanah”).
We would like to confirm that Khazanah has received a Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim from the legal representatives of Tan Sri Halim Saad.
We believe that we have a strong defence to the claim and shall be taking all measures necessary to vigorously defend it in order to protect our interest.
As the matter is pending in court, we will refrain from making further comments unless it becomes necessary to protect our interests.
